The good news: RFH was, to use your word, fanbleedingtastic; and was clearly a ton of work.

The bad news: When you conduct an orchestra, you are facing away from the audience, and we can see your the bald patch I'd never noticed in the standups.

Congratulations on the most polished performance and a triumphant night.

I was in RFH on 9th March for your show 'Classic Relief'. I have to compliment: it was really exhilarating!  Two hours and half of pure fun, using a subject (classical music) that is thought by many to be 'boring', 'old', 'incomprehensible'...

I was also (positively) surprised of how you were able to involve all the guests (and the whole Philharmonia) in your musical gags. I'm an Italian that moved to UK two years ago for work, and I'm passionate of classical music, so I attend a lot of concerts in London. I have also to say that your shows are not only very amusing, but they can also make many people closer to classical music.

My best wishes for your professional future.

As one of "the spectatorship" I must report that the first half didn't go on too long at all. I would have happily stayed in the RFH for as long as the brilliant performers could keep it all up before requiring a break.

Many thanks for a well put-together evening.!

Great stuff. Looking forward to revisiting the event on radio and i-player.

The first half wasn’t a second too long… Bravo.

I fell asleep in the second half – past my bedtime.

Regards

Kevin
