Wheesh! And I thought ebay was perilous. I know what you mean though – I walked past Sotheby’s and was taken aback – I envisaged a huge hall or museum  type building but the façade hides the truth it seems.

I’ve never understood the huge amounts that change hands for these things, especially some art. And especially modern art. It is only a bit of pigment on a canvas or a pile of rubble after all, but then as someone delightfully noted, if there was only 1 rabbit left on earth, rabbit poo would be more expensive than gold. Or something.
